Marketing Design

As the Marketing Designer and Design Manager for Submittable for four years, I was instrumental in the brand's growth and transformation, which included a significant rebranding effort. The samples on this page showcase some of the marketing materials I created during this time, all reflecting the new brand identity. These are the most recent examples of my work while working in the marketing department.

Website

We relied heavily on reusable components to create individual or groups of pages to fit the needs of the website. Here are a few examples of components I created. All of the components have multiple variants with different headline configurations, button or CTA add-ons, and the ability to add or remove individual parts. This enabled the team to quickly produce content for the website and cold landing pages to test, publish, and adjust regularly.

Reuseable componentry and page layouts

To streamline my work and improve efficiency, I developed reusable components for creating customized web pages, whether for an individual page or a group of pages. These components comprise of different headline styles, CTA add-ons, and removable parts, allowing for fast content production, testing, publishing, and easy adjustment when necessary.

Blog

I collaborated with an external contractor to develop the Submittable blog on WordPress. The aim was to simplify the process of uploading blog posts for our editors in the future without requiring further design or development work. Posters can edit all elements of the landing page and blog post page. Since its creation in 2017, the site has been functioning seamlessly with minimal updates.

Blog post componentry

I also created multiple blog components that our editors could pick and choose from to break up their posts visually and draw attention to critical areas of interest. Check out a live blog post.

Iconography and illustrations

I created a complete set of icons and basic illustrations for marketing materials, including the website, promotional and informational materials, slide decks, and infographics.

Digital and printed resources

I designed numerous digital and printed guides that served a dual purpose. These guides are intended for promotional use, showcasing our services and offerings while positioning the company as a thought leader in the industry. I ensured each guide was visually appealing and tailored to our target audience's needs. These resources expanded our reach, increased engagement, and facilitated valuable sales leads.
